Moonhack World Record – watch live video here!

We are very excited to have children from SHNC After School Care run at Crown St Public School take part in the world record of having the most number of children coding at once. This initiative was run by Code Club Australia and had 10, 207 children kids coding at once all over Australia.

Code Club Australia is a nationwide network of free, volunteer-led, after-school coding clubs for children aged 9-11. The projects they run teach children how to program by showing them how to make computer games, animations and websites. Kids need to understand that they’re in charge of the computer, and can (and should) make it do what they want, not the other way around.

What a great program and what an achievement! #getkidscoding

SHNC After School Care team works hard to find and get children participating in the events like Moonhack. See more details about the service here - SHNC After School Care
