Narelle has been a Surry Hills girl all of her life. Her parents moved their family from Paddington to Surry Hills in the 1960’s to support her father’s Aunt – the notorious ‘Kate Leigh’. Narelle attended St Peters Primary School in Devonshire St before the existing site was a daycare centre and business college. The local high school was St Patrick’s Girls High in the CBD.

She had a diverse career with the CBA which included roles in HR, Community and Media Relations, CBA TV and Business Development. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Health Science and utilizes this knowledge in her current role as a Pilates Teacher in local studios.

She has 2 children and is a huge dog lover – foster caring dogs for the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. One of her goals is to see all of Surry Hills businesses dog friendly.
