A Delight to Write

Do you have a beautiful picture or object that you would like to write a poem or a short story about?

A cat. A dog. Your family. A lovely garden. A beautiful building. A flower. A smooth stone. A nicely shaped shell. A pine tree cone. A piece of jewellery.

Bring along this picture (as a printout or on your phone) or the object to our Friday meeting. 

Share your thoughts about the picture or object with the group.

With guidance from Mark (facilitator). Start writing a poem or short story – coming from how the picture or object speaks to you. 

Share your finished piece with the rest of the group – Your final piece of work will be included in the collection of poems and short stories published with opportunity for you to read at an exhibition representing creative talents of our participating community.
