Seet Dance is one of the most innovative contemporary dance schools in Australia. Founded by Charemaine Seet at the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre more than 13 years ago, Seet Dance has flourished and grown and, in the words of AusDance NSW, has become the “foremost place in Sydney where dance is taught as a contemporary art form.” Seet Dance strives to be an artistic hub integral to Surry Hills and surrounding communities. At Seet Dance, collaboration and creativity are emphasised over competition. Improvisation is one of the keystones of our technique.
