Finding Joy – Creative writing and poetry workshop

• Bring along a photo or something that brings you joy
• Share your joyous thoughts regarding your photo or object with the group

• With guidance from Mark (facilitator) start writing a poem or a short story based on how the photo or object speaks to you
• Share your writing with Mark and the rest of the group – based on the feedback, you might like to add, delete, or change some parts of your written work
• Your final piece of work will be included in the collection of poems and short stories published
• Opportunity for you to read at an exhibition representing the creative talents of our participating community
